The platform, under the name FEDHielo TV, will be a strategic tool to offer a quality product to Spanish fans and attract new audiences across the European market.
The Royal Spanish Federation of Ice Sports (RFEDH) has taken a decisive step in the modernization and audiovisual projection of national ice hockey with the launch of its new OTT, FEDHielo TV, created by Sportway, a leading global developer of ice hockey content solutions. With this agreement, Sportway acquires the management of audiovisual rights for Spanish ice hockey competitions, contributing its experience with federations in Sweden, Finland, Belgium, France, Italy, and beyond.
This strategic agreement will allow fans to enjoy a high-quality product, with reliable, high-definition broadcasts on a robust and accessible platform, adapted to the current demands of the sports audiovisual market. The alliance also connects Spanish ice hockey to a global community of fans, especially in Europe where Sportway already has a significant footprint, while also working to grow loyalty among national fans.
With this initiative, the RFEDH reinforces its commitment to the digitalization, professionalization, and promotion of ice hockey in Spain—consolidating a strategy that seeks to position the sport at a new level of visibility and connection with its fans. The platform will be available starting September 15th through www.fedhielo.tv and as an app for Android and iPhone mobile devices.
