Sportway Media Group announces the launch of Sportway UK and the Acquisition of NextGenXV

Stockholm-based Sportway Media Group, one of the world’s leading AI-automated sports production company, today announces its expansion into the UK market with the launch of Sportway UK. Sportway Media Group have been providing scalable and cost-effective solutions for live broadcasting in the Nordics and beyond for the last decade. With close to 2,000 installations across the world, Sportway lead the market in delivering high quality automated content to federations, leagues, clubs in sports such as football, hockey, rugby, volleyball, ice-hockey and basketball.

Stewart Walker has been named as CEO of Sportway UK. Stewart previously headed the Global Rights Partnerships division at DAZN and is currently the UK Director for Sportway’s sister company, Commercial Sports Media.

As part of their expansion into the UK market, Sportway UK have acquired NextGenXV, a leading UK- based production company renowned for its coverage of lower-tier, youth and school sports. NextGenXV has established itself over a number of years as a trusted leader in the UK’s school and youth sports sector, producing top-tier content and building a strong digital presence among schools, athletes, and fans. By joining forces with Sportway Media Group, NextGenXV will gain access to cutting-edge AI production technology allowing it to expand and enhance their existing school and youth event coverage.
