Sportway and New Zealand Ice Hockey Federation Unite to Grow the Sport

Sportway, a pioneering media and broadcast company specializing in AI-driven productions, and New Zealand Ice Hockey, the national governing body for ice hockey, are proud to announce an innovative partnership poised to reshape the landscape of ice sports broadcasting in New Zealand.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the evolution of sports media, leveraging Sportway’s cutting-edge AI technology and New Zealand Ice Hockey’s passion for advancing the sport to deliver great broadcasts until at least 2028.

As part of this strategic alliance, Sportway will harness its state-of-the-art AI production capabilities to enhance the coverage and accessibility of ice hockey events throughout New Zealand. This will include live broadcasts and other Sportway products like Team Account, an automated coaching tool that will help player development in the country, and Follow Your Player, a newly launched product where any viewer can get the highlights of their favourite players gathered in one place.
