Swedish media company Sportway has acquired the media rights to Handbollsligan Women and Handbollsligan Men. The ambition is to build a stronger and broader presence for Swedish elite handball. All matches will continue to be broadcast.

The new partnership is currently in its initial phase, and further details regarding exactly where and how the matches will be packaged and distributed will be announced in the coming weeks.
What is already clear, however, is that every Handbollsligan match will continue to be produced and broadcast, just as before.

There is significant interest in the sport, as demonstrated by the viewing figures for the Swedish national teams and the Swedish Championship playoffs.
