In a new deal between Sportway Media Group (SMG) and the French Ice Hockey Federation (FFHG), the parties have reached a multi-year agreement to launch a new platform for streaming French ice hockey games from junior leagues to the top division League (Synerglace Ligue Magnus), the French Cup and national teams games.
The French Ice Hockey Federation board and the top division league (Synerglace Ligue Magnus) clubs have decided to enter into a partnership with Sportway Media Group. From next season and for five years, Sportway will support the development of French Ice Hockey and broadcast on an OTT platform dedicated to French Ice Hockey more than 1000 senior games and also youth competitions.
Sportway and the FFHG will now work on launching a new digital broadcast platform for next season and establishing media agreements to increase the exposure of French Ice Hockey. Further details will be communicated before the summer to prepare for the next season as effectively as possible.
